Martínez among others.
In 1995
on the pick of its grow and the best commercial moments
for the company Gustavo Castañeda de la Torre suddenly
dies.
This fact was a hard moment both in the personal as in
the professional fields. Nevertheless David Castañeda
focus his wiliness in keeping the store open and functioning
offering the best quality in stock and service as always.
He reaches this goal in a short two-year long time period.
The company keeps continuously
growing and adding each time
more and mores schools, ateliers and musical bands to
its customers list that recognise the effort made by the
young enterpriser.
In the last years Castañeda Music Imports has grown
even more and nowadays offers the
best and mostly renowned repair works, complete and specialised
stock and excellent service along the country.
But the most important and outstanding achievement is
the production of an own musical instrument line, a new
personal brand “David Castañeda’s
saxophones”.
This new brand is the result of long years of family efforts
and hard work. It also means the definitive recognition
and confirmation of the Castañeda family store
as one of the most important companies
in the country.
Nowadays David Castañeda not only produces his
owns saxophones and repairs them with a 100

teaches his techniques and shares his knowledge in several
schools and workshops in Spain.
